Annual Conference

The LCF conference is a chance for members to meet and get to know each other. It also provides us with the opportunity to hear from expert speakers and discuss topics of interest.

The conference is held on a Saturday, usually in April, at least two weeks away from Easter. The venue changes each year, but is always accessible by public transport.

The day follows a settled pattern which includes:

  • a brief worship service
  • the LCF Annual General Meeting
  • a buffet lunch
  • two speakers who address different aspects of the theme
  • open discussion following both presentations

Topics we have discussed in recent years include:

The lectures are usually published in a later issue of Christian Librarian.

Our 2009 annual conference will take place in Nottingham on Saturday 25th April.
