Librarians' Christian Fellowship

For twenty-five years members of the LCF have been arranging Christian services for the delegates attending major conferences of the Library Association, and its successor organisation, the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals.

2009 Service of Thanksgiving

A Service of Thanksgiving took place on Tuesday 14 July 2009 as our contribution to CILIP's Umbrella Conference.

The service was led by LCF President, Gordon Harris, Knowledge and Information Team Leader for Tearfund. CILIP Chief Executive, Dr. Bob McKee read the parable of the sower in Luke's gospel and local Baptist minister, the Rev. David Ronco spoke on the power of God's word to change and develop lives and the power of people to stifle or encourage such growth.
