Librarians' Christian Fellowship

Christians in Library, Information
and Archive Work

Membership

LCF members work in library and information services of many different kinds, including:

  • public libraries
  • academic libraries
  • school libraries
  • commercial companies
  • law firms
  • healthcare
  • the voluntary sector
  • government departments.

We also have members who are students, lecturers and bookshop workers.

The Fellowship is inter-denominational and welcomes Christians employed in libraries and related fields such as museums, archives and records management, whether they are professionally qualifed or not. We also welcome retired members and students of librarianship and related subjects.

Why not join us? Have a look at some of the benefits of membership.

As LCF is an affiliated society of the Universities' and Colleges' Christian Fellowship, applicants for full membership must be in agreement with our statement of faith and our application form includes a declaration of faith.

However, many of the subjects addressed in our periodicals and meetings will be of interest to Christians who do not entirely share our doctrinal viewpoint. Those who do not wish to become members are encouraged to take part in our activities, and receive our publications in return for an annual subscription.

Non-librarians interested in our work may join as associate members.

For further information, please contact our Membership Secretary.

If you would like to join LCF please print out and complete a copy of our Application Form.
